Tuna Crudo
Method
Preparation of Tuna Crudo
- 1
Cure the Tuna
Slice the Ahi tuna into thin, even pieces (about 1/4 inch thick) and arrange them neatly on a serving plate.
- 2
Prepare the Olive Mixture
In a small bowl, combine the mixed olives and crushed red pepper flakes. Toss gently to mix and let marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- 3
Make the Relish
In another bowl, mix the marinated artichoke hearts, capers, and cherry tomatoes. Stir well so all ingredients are evenly combined.
- 4
Assemble the Dish
Top the sliced Ahi tuna with the marinated olives and the artichoke, caper, and tomato relish. Drizzle with preserved lemon oil.
- 5
Toast the Bread
While assembling the dish, toast the bread slices until golden brown. Serve on the side.
