  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Mushrooms

Clean the Portobello mushrooms with a damp cloth. Remove the stems and chop them finely. Set aside the caps and the chopped stems.

Stuffing

  1. 3

    Make the Stuffing Mixture

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, chopped basil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and chopped mushroom stems. Mix until well combined.

  2. 4

    Add Bread Crumbs

Fold in the bread crumbs into the stuffing mixture until evenly incorporated.

Assembly and Baking

  1. 5

    Stuff the Mushrooms

Drizzle olive oil over the mushroom caps and rub it on both sides. Place them on a baking sheet, gill side up. Spoon the stuffing mixture generously into each mushroom cap.

  2. 6

    Bake

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the stuffing is golden brown.

  3. 7

Remove the stuffed mushrooms from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious stuffed mushrooms!
