Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a large pot, bring 4-5 liters of water to a rolling boil.

  2. 2

    Add Salt

Once the water is boiling, add 1 tablespoon of salt to the water.

  3. 3

    Cook Pasta

Add 300 grams of pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.

  4. 4

    Drain Pasta

Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside.

Preparing Vegetables

  1. 5

    Chop Vegetables

While the pasta is cooking, chop the bell peppers, zucchini, carrot, and garlic into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 6

    Sauté Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. 7

    Add Vegetables

Add the chopped bell peppers, zucchini, carrot, and cherry tomatoes to the skillet. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

  4. 8

    Season Vegetables

Tear the fresh basil leaves and add them to the skillet. Season with black pepper to taste.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 9

    Combine Pasta and Vegetables

Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Toss everything together for 1-2 minutes until well mixed.

  2. 10

    Serve

Remove from heat and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving. Enjoy your Pasta Primavera!
