Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, fresh dill, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully blended.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure each fillet is well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a charcoal grill, ensure the coals are glowing and covered with white ash.

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Place the fillets skin-side down on the grill. Cook for about 5-6 minutes on one side.

  3. 5

    Flip and Finish Cooking

Carefully flip the salmon fillets using a spatula and grill for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve

Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Garnish with additional fresh dill and lemon wedges if desired.
