Burger Patty

Prepare the Patty Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently without overworking the meat.

Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and form them into balls.

Finish Cooking
Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until a crust forms, then flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the desired doneness.
Smash Sauce

Mix the Sauce
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce.

Finish the Sauce
Stir until all ingredients are well blended and smooth.
Assembly

Toast the Buns
Toast the burger buns on the skillet for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Add Smash Sauce
On the bottom half of each bun, add a generous spoonful of the smash sauce.

Add Toppings
Top with shredded lettuce, a slice of tomato, and the cooked burger patty.

Place the top half of the bun over the burger and press down gently.
