Chicken Wings
Hot Sauce
Method
Preparation
Prepare the Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. This helps to make them crispy when cooked.
Season the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, and baking powder. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
Cooking
Bake the Wings
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Spread the seasoned wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
Prepare the Hot Sauce
While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, add the hot sauce, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir well to combine and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Toss the Wings
Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the wings and toss until they are well coated.
Serving
Serve Hot
Transfer the hot wings to a serving platter. Serve immediately with celery sticks and your favorite dipping sauce, if desired. Enjoy cautiously!
