In a food processor, crush 20 Oreo cookies until they form fine crumbs. Melt 1 cup of unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs with the melted butter and mix until well combined.

Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking pan. Using your hands or the back of a spatula, firmly press the mixture into an even layer at the bottom of the pan. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together 1 cup of unsalted butter, 1 cup of brown sugar, and 1 cup of granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add 2 tsp of vanilla extract and 2 tbsp of milk, mixing until combined.

Gradually add 2 cups of all-purpose flour to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips.
