Prepare Sausage Patty

Mix Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine ground pork, fennel seeds, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Form Patties
Divide the sausage mixture into 4 equal portions and form each portion into a patty.

Prepare Fried Peppers and Onions

Cook Vegetables
In the same skillet used for the sausage, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and heat over medium heat. Add sliced bell peppers and onion, sprinkle with salt and black pepper, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are softened and slightly caramelized.
Assemble the Dish

Add Cheese
Place a slice of provolone cheese on each sausage patty. Allow the cheese to melt slightly.

Top with Peppers and Onions
Top each patty with the sautéed peppers and onions. Serve immediately.
