Method
For the Zucchini Fries
- 1
Prepare the Zucchini
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Wash and dry the zucchini. Cut each zucchini into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick, to resemble fries.
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
In three separate shallow bowls, place all-purpose flour in the first bowl, beaten eggs in the second bowl, and a mixture of breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in the third bowl.
- 3
Bread the Zucchini
Take each zucchini strip, first coat it in flour, then dip it in the beaten eggs, and finally cover it with the breadcrumb mixture. Make sure each piece is well coated.
- 4
Arrange and Spray
Place the coated zucchini fries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer. Lightly spray the tops with olive oil spray for extra crispiness.
- 5
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Flip the fries halfway through baking for even crispiness.
For the Spicy Blue Cheese Dip
- 6
Mix the Dip Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the blue cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, hot sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Use a fork to mash and mix until well combined.
- 7
Taste and Adjust
Taste the dip and adjust the seasoning as needed. If you prefer more heat, add more hot sauce.
- 8
Chill and Serve
Cover the dip and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld. Serve chilled alongside the crispy zucchini fries.
