Burger Assembly

Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground Angus beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until all ingredients are well incorporated.

  2. 2

    Form the Patty

Divide the meat mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a round patty, approximately 3/4 inch thick.

Grill the Burger

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, ensuring it's hot enough to sear the burgers.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patty

Place the burger patty on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patty and place a slice of American cheese on top. Grill for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the burger reaches your desired doneness.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 5

    Prepare the Bun

While the burger is grilling, slice the burger bun in half and toast it lightly on the grill, cut side down, until golden brown.

  2. 6

    Layer Ingredients

On the bottom half of the toasted bun, place the lettuce leaf, followed by the grilled burger patty with melted cheese. Add the tomato slice, onion slices, and any desired condiments like ketchup and mustard.

  3. 7

    Complete the Burger

Top the burger with the other half of the toasted bun, press down gently, and your Angus Cheese Burger is ready to serve.
