Brew Espresso
Brew a fresh shot of espresso and let it cool for a few minutes to avoid melting the ice in the shaker.

Prepare Simple Syrup (if not using store-bought)
In a small saucepan, combine equal parts sugar and water (1:1 ratio) over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Allow to cool before using.

In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, cooled espresso, coffee liqueur, and simple syrup.

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well chilled and frothy.

Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass.

Garnish with three coffee beans placed on the surface of the drink.
