Preparing the Croutons

Make the Croutons
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the bread into bite-sized cubes.

In a bowl, combine the bread cubes, minced garlic, dried oregano, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the bread is well coated.

Spread the bread cubes on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown, tossing halfway through.

Remove from the oven and let cool.
Making the Dressing

Prepare the Dressing
In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic.

Whisk together until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Assembling the Salad

Assemble the Salad
In a large salad bowl, chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces.

Add the croutons and toss them with the lettuce.

Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss to coat evenly.

Top the salad with grated Parmesan cheese and arrange the white anchovies on top.
