Gather the Ingredients
Ensure you have all the ingredients ready on your countertop.

Chill the Glass
Place a cocktail glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water to chill while you prepare the drink.

Combine Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of Buffalo Trace Bourbon, 1 oz of Sweet Vermouth, and 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters.

Add Ice
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir gently for 30 seconds to chill and dilute the mixture.

Remove the cocktail glass from the freezer (or discard the ice water) and strain the mixture into the glass.
