Method

Preparation of Filet Mignon

  1. 1

    Season the Filets

Sprinkle salt and black pepper evenly over both sides of the filet mignon pieces. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Sear the Filets

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the filet mignon and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or cook to your preferred doneness.

  3. 3

    Rest the Meat

Remove the filet mignon from the skillet and let them rest on a plate covered with foil for about 5 minutes.

Preparation of Lobster

  1. 4

    Prepare the Lobster

Using kitchen shears, cut the top of the lobster tails down the middle to expose the meat. Gently pull the meat out and lay it on top of the shell.

  2. 5

    Make Garlic Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add minced garlic, paprika, and lemon juice. Stir to combine and cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

  3. 6

    Broil the Lobster

Preheat the broiler. Brush the garlic butter mixture over the lobster tails and place them on a baking sheet. Broil for about 8-10 minutes until the meat is opaque and cooked through.

  4. 7

    Garnish

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

Preparation of Asparagus

  1. 8

    Prepare the Asparagus

Wash the asparagus and trim the ends. Toss them with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 9

    Cook the Asparagus

In the same skillet used for the filet mignon, add the asparagus and sauté over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp.
