Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Shrimp

Rinse the fresh shrimp under cold water, then pat them dry with paper towels. Remove the shells and devein if necessary.

2

Make the Marinade

In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until well mixed.

3

Marinate the Shrimp

Add the cleaned shrimp to the bowl with the marinade. Toss to coat the shrimp evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Grilling

4

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).

5

Skewer the Shrimp

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes to prevent burning. Thread the marinated shrimp onto the skewers, about 4-5 shrimp per skewer.

6

Grill the Shrimp

Place the skewers on the grill. Grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Brush with additional marinade during grilling if desired.

Serving

7

Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, remove the shrimp from the grill and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges if desired.
