Method

Salmon

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon filets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Grill

Preheat your wood-fired grill to medium-high heat.

  4. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Place the marinated salmon filets on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through and has grill marks.

  5. 5

    Garnish

If desired, sprinkle fresh dill on top of the grilled salmon before serving.

Mashed Potatoes

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into even-sized chunks.

  2. 7

    Boil the Potatoes

Place the chopped potatoes in a pot of salted water. Bring to a boil and cook for about 15-20 minutes or until fork-tender.

  3. 8

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Grilled Vegetables

  1. 9

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and slice the bell peppers, zucchini, and red onion into even-sized pieces.

  2. 10

    Season the Vegetables

In a bowl, toss the sliced vegetables with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 11

    Grill the Vegetables

Place the seasoned vegetables on the grill. Grill for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are tender and charred.
