Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Dice the ham, green bell pepper, and onion into small pieces. Shred the cheddar cheese if it’s not pre-shredded.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and green bell pepper. Sauté for about 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are softened.

  2. 3

    Add the Ham

Add the diced ham to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Stir well and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the ham is heated through.

  3. 4

    Season the Mixture

Sprinkle salt, black pepper, and garlic powder over the mixture. Stir to combine and cook for 2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  4. 5

    Add the Cheese

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the ham and vegetable mixture. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the cheese is melted.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate and Serve

Remove the skillet from the heat. Serve the Farmer's (AGF) hot, either on its own or with a side of toast or eggs.
