Preparation
- 1
Chill the Glass
Begin by chilling a cocktail glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and letting it sit while you prepare the drink.
- 2
Combine Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add 2 oz of Irish whiskey, 1 oz of Carpano Antica sweet vermouth, and 0.5 oz of Faccia Brutto liqueur.
- 3
Add Bitters
Add 2 dashes of orange bitters to the mixing glass to enhance the flavor profile.
- 4
Stir the Mixture
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.
- 5
Prepare the Glass
Discard the ice water from the cocktail glass and strain the mixture from the mixing glass into the chilled cocktail glass.
- 6
Garnish
Twist the lemon zest strip over the drink to release its oils, then drop it into the glass as a garnish.
