Method

Prepare the Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

In a bowl, combine the steak strips with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss until the steak is evenly coated.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Once cooked, remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing into bite-sized pieces.

Prepare the Salad

  1. 3

    Prepare the Vegetables

Slice the cucumbers and the grilled red onion into thin strips. If not already done, roast the tomatoes by halving them, drizzling with olive oil, and baking them at 400°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes until tender.

  2. 4

    Assemble the Salad

In a large salad bowl, combine the mixed greens, sliced cucumbers, grilled red onion, and roasted tomatoes. Toss gently to mix.

Final Touch

  1. 5

    Add the Toppings

Top the mixed greens salad with the grilled steak strips and blue cheese. Drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette before serving for added flavor.
