Method

Steak

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Take the Prime New York Strip Steak and season it generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned steak to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time depending on your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest on a plate for at least 5 minutes before slicing.

Eggs

  1. 4

    Cook the Eggs

In the same skillet used for the steak (you may want to wipe it down if there are burnt bits), add butter and melt it over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook to your preferred doneness (scrambled, sunny-side up, or over-easy).

Hashbrowns

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and grate the potatoes using a box grater. Rinse the grated potatoes under cold water to remove excess starch and then pat them dry with a kitchen towel.

  2. 6

    Cook the Hashbrowns

In a separate skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add grated potatoes and finely chopped onion, season with salt and black pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy, about 10-15 minutes.

Toast

  1. 7

    Toast the Bread

In another skillet or toaster, toast the bread slices until golden brown. Spread butter on toasted bread while hot.
