Salad Ingredients

Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Spinach

Wash the fresh spinach thoroughly under cold running water. Remove any tough stems and pat the leaves dry with a clean kitchen towel or use a salad spinner.

  2. 2

    Crumble the Goat Cheese

Take the goat cheese and crumble it into small pieces using your fingers or a fork. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Toast the Pecans

In a small skillet over medium heat, toast the pecans for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently until they are fragrant and lightly browned. Remove from heat and let cool.

  4. 4

    Combine the Ingredients

In a large salad bowl, add the washed spinach, crumbled goat cheese, toasted pecans, raisins, and dried cherries.

  5. 5

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the apple basil vinaigrette over the salad. Start with half a cup and add more to taste. Toss gently to combine all ingredients without bruising the spinach.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the salad immediately as a fresh appetizer or side dish. Enjoy!
