Method

Omelet

  1. 1

    Prepare the Eggs

In a bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them thoroughly. Add salt and black pepper to taste, and mix well.

  2. 2

    Cook the Omelet

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Once melted and bubbly, pour the egg mixture into the skillet. Allow it to cook for 2-3 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add Fillings

If desired, sprinkle cheese and vegetables over one half of the omelet. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the egg is set but still moist.

  4. 4

    Fold and Serve

Carefully fold the omelet in half using a spatula and slide it onto a plate. Serve immediately.

Hashbrowns

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the potatoes and grate them using a box grater or food processor.

  2. 6

    Cook the Hashbrowns

Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the grated potatoes and season with salt and pepper. Press down gently to form a patty. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

Toast

  1. 7

    Toast the Bread

While the hashbrowns are cooking, toast the slices of bread in a toaster or on a skillet until golden brown.

  2. 8

    Butter the Toast

Spread butter on the toasted bread while it is still hot.
