Omelet Ingredients

Method

Omelet Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fillings

In a large bowl, combine the cooked and crumbled sausage, bacon, diced Canadian bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and steamed broccoli. Mix well and set aside.

  2. 2

    Whisk the Eggs

In another bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them together until well combined. Add salt and black pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Cook the Omelet

Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour in the whisked eggs, tilting the pan to ensure even coverage. Allow the eggs to cook undisturbed for about 1-2 minutes until they start to set.

  4. 4

    Add the Fillings

Once the edges of the omelet begin to set, carefully spoon the filling mixture onto one half of the omelet.

  5. 5

    Fold and Finish Cooking

Using a spatula, gently fold the other half of the omelet over the filling. Continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and the eggs are fully cooked.

  6. 6

    Serve

Slide the omelet onto a plate and cut it in half if desired. Serve warm with a side of mixed fresh fruit.

Fresh Fruit Preparation

  1. 7

    Prepare the Fresh Fruit

Wash and chop the strawberries, blueberries, and melon into bite-sized pieces. Combine in a bowl and serve as a refreshing side.
