Omelet Ingredients

Method

Omelet Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Meats

In a skillet over medium heat, add the sausage, bacon, and Canadian bacon. Cook until browned and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to remove the meats from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Broccoli

In the same skillet, add chopped broccoli and sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender but still vibrant green. Set aside with the meats.

  3. 3

    Whisk the Eggs

In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and add salt and pepper. Whisk until the mixture is well combined and slightly frothy.

  4. 4

    Cook the Omelet

Heat olive oil in the skillet over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and let it cook undisturbed for 2-3 minutes until the edges start to set. Use a spatula to lift the edges gently, allowing uncooked egg to flow underneath.

  5. 5

    Add Fillings

Once the omelet is mostly set, evenly distribute the cooked meats, sautéed broccoli, and shredded cheese over one half of the omelet. Fold the omelet in half and let it cook for another 2 minutes until the cheese has melted.

  6. 6

    Serve

Gently slide the omelet onto a plate and cut it in half if desired. Serve hot.

Fruit Preparation

  1. 7

    Prepare the Fruit

Wash the mixed berries thoroughly. Pat them dry and serve in a small bowl on the side of the omelet.
