Gather Ingredients
Collect all ingredients: rye whiskey, Averna amaro, Angostura bitters, orange bitters, and a maraschino cherry.

Chill Glass
Place a cocktail glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water to chill while you prepare the drink.

Combine Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add 2 oz of rye whiskey and 1 oz of Averna amaro.

Add Bitters
Add 2 dashes of Angostura bitters and 2 dashes of orange bitters to the mixing glass.

Stir
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Strain and Serve
Remove the ice from the chilled glass and strain the mixture from the mixing glass into the cocktail glass.

Garnish
Top the drink with a maraschino cherry for garnish.
