Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Begin by washing the fresh spinach thoroughly under cold water. Remove any tough stems and chop the spinach into bite-sized pieces. Place the chopped spinach in a large mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Add the Onions

Peel the red onion and slice it thinly. Add the sliced onions to the bowl with the spinach.

  3. 3

    Incorporate Olives and Feta

Pit and slice the olives if necessary (for Kalamata olives). Add the olives and crumbled feta cheese to the mixing bowl.

  4. 4

    Add Fresh Oregano

Chop the fresh oregano leaves finely and sprinkle them over the salad. Mix all the ingredients gently to combine.

  5. 5

    Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  6. 6

    Combine Salad and Dressing

Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and toss gently to ensure all ingredients are coated with the dressing.

  7. 7

    Serve

Transfer the Greek salad to a serving platter or individual plates. Enjoy immediately or chill for 15 minutes before serving for enhanced flavors.
