Pizza Base

Method

Preparing the Pizza Base

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) to ensure it is hot enough to cook the pizza thoroughly.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Dough

On a floured surface, stretch or roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness. Transfer it to a pizza stone or baking sheet dusted with cornmeal.

  3. 3

    Brush with Olive Oil

Brush the surface of the dough with olive oil to help it crisp up while baking.

Adding Toppings

  1. 4

    Layer the Spinach

Spread the chopped fresh spinach evenly over the prepared pizza dough.

  2. 5

    Add Olives

Distribute the olives evenly over the spinach layer.

  3. 6

    Sprinkle Feta Cheese

Crumble the feta cheese over the olives and spinach.

  4. 7

    Add Red Onions

Scatter the thinly sliced red onions on top of the cheese.

  5. 8

    Finish with Mozzarella and Oregano

Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the entire pizza and add chopped fresh oregano on top for flavor.

Baking the Pizza

  1. 9

    Bake the Pizza

Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

  2. 10

    Cool and Slice

Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing into wedges.
