Ensure you have all your ingredients ready: gin, Lillet Blanc, orange liqueur, fresh lemon juice, and orange zest.

Juice the Lemon
Squeeze fresh lemons to obtain 0.75 oz of lemon juice. Strain to remove seeds and pulp if necessary.

Prepare the Zest
Use a microplane or zester to remove the zest from an orange, making sure to avoid the bitter white pith.
Mixing

Combine the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of gin, 1 oz of Lillet Blanc, 0.5 oz of orange liqueur, and 0.75 oz of fresh lemon juice.

Shake with Ice
Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Strain into a Glass
Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass or coupe, ensuring no ice makes it into the glass.
