Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Swordfish

In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic (finely chop the garlic cloves), sea salt, and black pepper. Place the swordfish steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a grill pan, heat it on the stove over medium-high heat.

  2. 3

    Cook the Swordfish

Remove the swordfish from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Place the swordfish steaks on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).

Serving

  1. 4

    Plate and Garnish

Once cooked, remove the swordfish from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve the swordfish steaks on plates, garnished with fresh parsley and optional lemon wedges and dill.
