Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Chop the Vegetables

Start by chopping the onion, mushrooms, and bell pepper into small, uniform pieces. This will ensure even cooking and flavor distribution.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Lettuce and Tomato

Wash and dry the lettuce leaves, then shred them into bite-sized pieces. Dice the tomato into small cubes and set aside.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet over medium heat, add a tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the chopped onions and bell peppers. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they soften. Then add the mushrooms and cook for an additional 5 minutes until all the vegetables are tender.

  2. 4

    Combine Cheeses

Once the vegetables are cooked, reduce the heat to low and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the sautéed vegetables. Cover the skillet with a lid and let the cheese melt for about 2-3 minutes.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Prepare the Serving

On a plate or in a bowl, start with a base of shredded lettuce. Spoon the cheesy vegetable mixture over the lettuce.

  2. 6

    Top with Tomato

Finally, sprinkle the diced tomatoes on top of the cheesy vegetable mix for added freshness and flavor.
