Method

Burger Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Burger Patties

In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into half-pound patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Burgers

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. If using cheese, place a slice on each burger during the last minute of cooking.

  3. 3

    Toast the Buns

While the burgers are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Add Optional Ingredients

If desired, cook the bacon slices in a skillet until crispy. Assemble the burgers by placing the patties on the buns and adding bacon, lettuce, tomato, or any other toppings you like.

French Fries Directions

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips. Rinse the strips in cold water to remove excess starch and pat them dry with a paper towel.

  2. 6

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the potato strips in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to drain.

  3. 7

    Season the Fries

While the fries are still hot, sprinkle with salt to taste.

Optional Salad Directions

  1. 8

    Prepare the Salad

In a large bowl, combine chopped Romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, and croutons. Toss well to coat.
