Method

Preparation of Chicken

  1. 1

    Grill or Fry the Chicken

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breast with olive oil, salt, and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Cook the Chicken

Place the chicken on the grill or skillet. If grilling, cook for approximately 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). If frying, cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked.

  3. 3

    Rest the Chicken

Once cooked, remove the chicken from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Preparation of Toppings

  1. 4

    Prepare the Bacon

In the same skillet, cook the bacon strips over medium heat until crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  2. 5

    Slice the Tomato

Cut the tomato into thin slices.

  3. 6

    Prepare the Lettuce

Wash and dry the lettuce leaf, then set aside.

Assembly

  1. 7

    Build the Sandwich

Take the potato bun or French baguette and spread 1 tablespoon of Duke's Mayonnaise on the bottom half. Place the sliced chicken breast on top, followed by a slice of American cheese, the crispy bacon, the lettuce, and the tomato slices.

  2. 8

    Finish the Sandwich

Spread another tablespoon of Duke's Mayonnaise on the top half of the bun or baguette, then place it on top of the sandwich.

  3. 9

    Serve

Cut the sandwich in half if desired and serve immediately with your choice of side.
