Burger Patty

Toppings

Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently with your hands until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, making a slight indentation in the center of each to prevent puffing during cooking.

Cook the Burger

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Skillet

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 5

    Add Bleu Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, sprinkle the bleu cheese crumbles on top of the patties and cover to let the cheese melt.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 6

    Prepare the Toppings

While the patties are cooking, slice the red onion and tomato. Rinse the lettuce leaves.

  2. 7

    Spread Mayonnaise

Spread Duke's® Mayonnaise on the bottom half of each hamburger bun.

  3. 8

    Build the Burger

Place the cooked patty with melted bleu cheese on top of the mayonnaise. Layer with lettuce, sliced red onion, and tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.
