Prepare the Burger Patty

Mix the Ingredients
In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently with your hands until just combined.

Form the Patty
Shape the mixture into a single burger patty about 3/4 inch thick, making a slight indentation in the center to prevent puffing during cooking.
Cook the Bacon

Fry the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the hickory smoked bacon until crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Flip and Add Cheese
Flip the patty and immediately place the slice of American cheese on top. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the patty reaches desired doneness.
Assemble the Burger

Layer the Ingredients
Spread the Duke's® mayonnaise on the bottom half of the bun, then add the lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked burger patty with cheese, bacon slices, and finally top with the tomato slices.

Place the top half of the bun on the burger and gently press down. Your bacon cheeseburger is ready to serve!
