Crust Preparation

Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix crust ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until well combined and crumbly.

Form the crust
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create an even layer.

Bake the crust
Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.
Cheesecake Filling Preparation

Prepare the filling
In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy using an electric mixer.

Add sugar and sour cream
Gradually add the granulated sugar and sour cream, mixing until fully incorporated.

Incorporate vanilla
Add the vanilla extract and mix until well combined.

Add eggs
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition until just combined.

Pour filling into crust
Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust in the springform pan.

Bake the cheesecake
Bake in the oven for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set but slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for an additional hour.

Remove the cheesecake from the oven, cool to room temperature, and then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Prepare the toppings
Before serving, drizzle the chocolate syrup and caramel sauce over the top of the cheesecake.

Sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly on top of the cheesecake for added crunch.
