Method

Hamburger

  1. 1

    Prepare the patties

In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into two equal patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the patties

Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Add cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

  4. 4

    Assemble the burger

Toast the hamburger buns lightly. Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, then add the cooked patty with melted cheese, followed by tomato slices, onion slices, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

Fries

  1. 5

    Prepare the potatoes

Wash and cut the potatoes into thin strips to make fries.

  2. 6

    Season and coat

In a bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil and salt until evenly coated.

  3. 7

    Bake the fries

Spread the fries on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Soft Drink

  1. 8

    Serve the drink

Open the can of your chosen soft drink and pour it into a glass or serve directly from the can.
