Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Marinade

In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Whisk together until well combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Fish

Place the redfish fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the fish, ensuring each fillet is well coated. Cover the dish or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F). Oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Grill the Redfish

Remove the redfish from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Place the fillets on the preheated grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then carefully flip and grill for another 4-5 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and has nice grill marks.

Serving

  1. 5

    Plate and Garnish

Once cooked, remove the redfish from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve the grilled redfish on plates, garnished with lemon wedges and whole parsley leaves for freshness.
