Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

Melt the Butter
In a medium saucepan, melt 1 cup of unsalted butter over low heat. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Mix Sugars
Stir in 2 cups of granulated sugar and 1 cup of brown sugar until well combined.

Add Eggs and Vanilla
Add 4 large eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in 2 tsp of vanilla extract.

Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, and 1 tsp of salt.

Combine Mixtures
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips.

Bake
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool
Remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
Assemble

Serve Brownies
Place a warm brownie square on a dessert plate.

Add Ice Cream
Top the brownie with 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Drizzle with Chocolate Syrup
Generously drizzle 1/4 cup of chocolate syrup over the ice cream and brownie.

Repeat for Additional Servings
Repeat the process for the remaining brownie squares, ice cream scoops, and chocolate syrup. Serve immediately.
