Method
Preparation of Wings
- 1
Clean and Season the Wings
Rinse the jumbo chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. In a bowl, combine salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Rub this spice mix all over the wings, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- 2
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This will ensure the wings cook evenly and become crispy.
- 3
Prepare the Baking Tray
Line a baking tray with aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Place a wire rack on top of the tray and lightly brush it with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- 4
Arrange the Wings
Place the seasoned wings on the wire rack. Make sure they are spaced out to allow for proper airflow during cooking.
Cooking the Wings
- 5
Bake the Wings
Put the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake the wings for 40-45 minutes, turning them halfway through to ensure even browning. The wings are done when they are golden and crispy.
Preparing the Sauce
- 6
Melt the Sauce Ingredients
In a small saucepan over low heat, combine hot sauce, butter, and honey. Stir until the butter is melted and the mixture is well combined.
Serving
- 7
Toss Wings in Sauce
Once the wings are cooked, place them in a large bowl and pour the prepared sauce over them. Toss gently until all wings are coated with the sauce.
- 8
