Prepare the Deli Meats
Layer the salami, capicola, and mortadella on a plate. You can slightly overlap the slices for a better presentation.

Slice the Tomato
Wash and slice the tomato into thin slices. Set aside.

Wash the lettuce leaves and pat them dry. Tear them into smaller pieces if necessary.
Grilling the Sandwich

On the hoagie rolls, layer the grilled onions, deli meats, provolone cheese, lettuce, and tomato slices. Drizzle with a little olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
