Prep the Tortillas
Cut each corn tortilla into 6 wedges to form chips.

Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Chips
Carefully add the tortilla wedges in batches to the hot oil. Fry until they are golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to remove them and drain on paper towels.

Sprinkle with salt while still warm to enhance the flavor.

Mix the Salsa
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño pepper, and cilantro.

Add Lime and Seasoning
Pour lime juice over the mixture and add salt. Stir well to combine all ingredients.

Allow the salsa to sit for at least 15 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
