Prepare the Tortillas
Cut each corn tortilla into 6 wedges to create triangular chips.

Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Chips
Carefully add a few tortilla wedges to the hot oil. Fry for 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove them with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Season the Chips
While still warm, sprinkle the chips with salt to taste.

Mix the Salsa
In a large bowl, combine the chopped tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and jalapeño.

Add Lime Juice and Salt
Pour in the lime juice and add salt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Refrigerate
Cover the salsa and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
