Cocktail
Muddle cucumber and mint
Place 3–4 thin cucumber slices and the mint leaves in a cocktail shaker or mixing glass. If you want the optional jalapeño kick, add 1 thin jalapeño slice with seeds removed for a milder heat or keep seeds for more spice. Gently muddle 8–10 times — press to release cucumber juice and mint oils without shredding the mint into bits.
Add spirits and sweetener
Add 2 oz Pearl Cucumber Vodka to the shaker (or substitute 2 oz 1800 Cucumber Jalapeño Tequila for the $1 upgrade). Pour in 0.75 oz fresh lime juice and 0.5 oz simple syrup.
Shake
Add a generous handful of ice to the shaker, cap it, and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until the outside of the shaker is cold.
Build in glass
Fill your chilled highball glass with fresh ice (about 1 cup). Double-strain the shaker contents into the glass to remove mint bits and large cucumber solids. If you prefer more cucumber texture, strain normally without a fine mesh.
Top and finish
Top the cocktail with 2 oz club soda. Gently stir once or twice to combine flavors without flattening the soda.
