Preparation

1

Juicing the Lemons

Roll the lemons on the countertop to soften them. Cut them in half and use a juicer to extract the juice. You should have about 1 to 1.5 cups of lemon juice.

2

Mixing Sugar and Water

In a pitcher, combine 1 cup of granulated sugar with 1 cup of warm water. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

3

Combining Ingredients

Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice to the sugar-water mixture. Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and stir well to combine all the ingredients.

Serving

4

Chill and Serve

For best results, chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Serve over ice cubes in glasses and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
