Tea Base

Method

Brewing the Tea

1

Boil the Water

In a kettle, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

2

Add Tea

Once the water has reached a boil, remove it from heat. If using loose leaf tea, place it in a tea infuser. Add the tea or tea bags to the water.

3

Steep the Tea

Allow the tea to steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea. If using loose leaf tea, steep for about 4 minutes.

4

Remove Tea

After steeping, remove the tea bags or infuser from the kettle.

Flavoring the Tea (optional)

5

Add Sweetener

If desired, stir in 1 tablespoon of honey for sweetness.

6

Add Lemon Juice

For a zesty flavor, add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to the tea.

7

Add Milk (if desired)

For a creamier texture, add 1 tablespoon of milk or a dairy alternative.

8

Sprinkle Cinnamon (optional)

For an additional flavor kick, sprinkle 1 teaspoon of cinnamon on top.
