Preparation
Steep the Tea
Once the water is boiling, pour it over the black tea bag in a mug. Allow it to steep for about 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.
Add Honey and Lemon
Remove the tea bag and stir in 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice until fully dissolved.
Incorporate Whiskey
Add 2 oz of Jameson Irish whiskey to the mug and stir gently to combine.
Serve
Taste the hot toddy and adjust the sweetness or acidity by adding more honey or lemon juice, if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
