Ingredients for Henry Burger
Method
Directions for Preparing Henry Burger
- 1
Prepare the Fries
Cook the frozen fries according to the package instructions until golden and crispy. Set aside.
- 2
Caramelize the Onions
Slice the medium onion thinly. In a skillet over medium heat, add a tablespoon of oil and the sliced onions. Cook, stirring occasionally, until they are soft and golden brown, about 15-20 minutes. Set aside.
- 3
Prepare the Burger Patties
Divide the ground beef into four equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty, making them slightly larger than the burger buns. Season with salt and pepper.
- 4
Cook the Patties
In the same skillet used for the onions, increase the heat to medium-high. Cook the patties for about 4 minutes on one side, then flip them. Top each patty with a slice of American cheese and cook for another 4 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your liking.
- 5
Assemble the Burger
Spread mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard on the bottom half of each burger bun. Place the first cheese-covered patty on the bun, followed by caramelized onions, pickles, and lettuce. Top with the second patty and cover with the top half of the bun.
- 6
Serve
Serve the Henry Burger with a side of crispy fries.
