Prepare the Romaine
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Remove any wilted leaves and chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces.

Make the Dressing
In a bowl, mash the anchovy fillets with a fork. Add olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined.

Combine Ingredients
In a large salad bowl, add the chopped romaine lettuce. Pour the anchovy dressing over the lettuce and toss gently to coat.

Add Toppings
Sprinkle the grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese and croutons on top of the salad. Toss gently once more to distribute the toppings.

Serve immediately as a side salad or main dish.
