Halibut and Sauce

Method

Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Halibut

Season the halibut fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.

2

Brown the Butter

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Continue cooking until it turns golden brown and develops a nutty aroma, about 5-7 minutes. Be careful not to burn it.

3

Cook the Halibut

Add the seasoned halibut fillets to the skillet with the brown butter. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

4

Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to low. Add garum, orange zest, and orange juice to the brown butter, stirring to combine and heat through.

5

Serve

Place the halibut on plates, drizzle with the brown butter sauce, and sprinkle with toasted hazelnuts and chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
