Burger Preparation
- 1
Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 2
Prepare the Beef Patty
Form the ground beef into a loose ball (about 0.5 pounds) and season with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over high heat.
- 3
Smash the Patty
Place the beef ball on the skillet and immediately smash it down with a spatula to form a patty. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side.
- 4
Add Cheese and Bacon
Flip the patty, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top, and add the cooked bacon. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted.
- 5
Assemble the Burger
On the bottom half of the brioche bun, spread the special sauce. Layer the lettuce, tomato slices, dill pickles, and the cooked beef patty with cheese and bacon. Top with the other half of the bun.
- 6
Serve
Serve the burger with a side of fries.
